Everyone here at Shona Hunting Adventures wishes to congratulate Michael Tjiveze (Tjokkie) for receiving the prestigious Napha Hunting Assistant of the year award for 2009. It is only the second time that this award is given to a hunting assistant in Namibia.

The award is awarded to an individual registered as a hunting assistant with Napha and has shown commitment to the Hunting industry as well as performing beyond is normal duties. This is indeed a great honor and we are very fortunate to have Tjokkie as part of our team. Clients who have hunted with Tjokkie in the past will all testify of his commitment to his job and combined with his friendly and honest attitude, he is definitely an asset to the hunting industry in Namibia.

Tjokkie was born in 1973 and started working for Shona Hunting Adventures in 2006 as a hunting assistant. In 2008 he qualified as a hunting guide, guiding clients from all over the world on Plains game safaris. In 2010 Tjokkie will be qualified as a Master Hunting Guide after successfully completing the criteria set by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. Tjokkie also plays a very important role as co lecturer in the training workshop for Hunting Assistant, held at Tualuka Safari Lodge, and presented by Shona Hunting Adventures.
